Luma Kultur is an independent cultural platform based in Stockholm, creating spaces where people, ideas and artistic disciplines meet, grow and transform into meaningful collaborations. We believe that creativity is a fundamental human ability — not a privilege of a few, but a source of growth, dignity and connection. Our Heritage of Light
Luma takes its name from one of Stockholm's most iconic symbols of light. In the 1930s, the historic Luma factory helped make light accessible to everyday life. It became a symbol of innovation, possibility and the belief that light should belong to everyone. We carry that heritage forward—not by producing light itself, but by creating the conditions where human creativity, dignity and connection can become visible. For us, light is no longer only something that illuminates places. It is something that illuminates people.
